Richard Marks Restorations, Inc. was conceived in 1985 to fulfill the need for a qualified resource in the field of architectural conservation, preservation and restoration. Since that time we have provided a wide range of services for historic sites, buildings and objects.  We continue to learn and build upon the knowledge base gained from each endeavor.

Our projects range in size from a few thousand dollars up to four million dollars. We regularly employ thirty to forty full-time craftsmen working in all phases of restoration and architectural conservation. These skills include carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, masonry, stonework, stucco, flat and ornamental plaster, gesso, and composition ornament. We utilize both traditional and modern techniques. It is often an economic or practical consideration that determines the best technique to use. Time-tested methods and material are our preferred means of repairing historic buildings and objects.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss your project.
